What is the G8PI Magnetic Antenna Mount?

The Laird-Antenex G8PI is a magnetic NMO antenna mount.  The mag mount is optimized for vehicular roof mounting of an NMO type antenna.

Why choose the G8PI?

Choose the G8PI for convenience of quickly placing the magnetic mounted antenna on top of a vehicle and plugging into the radio without needing to install any additional items.  This mag-mount includes 12 feet of RG58 coax with a Male UHF (PL259) style RF connector.  UHF is the connector type not frequency range.
